Patients can now access health data including lab results
LAMBTON COUNTY – May 15, 2025 – The Sarnia-Lambton Ontario Health Team is pleased to share that as of May 10, 2025, Bluewater Health patient health records are available through ConnectMyHealth.
ConnectMyHealth is a secure digital health portal that provides patients with access to their hospital information across southwestern Ontario. The free, online platform consolidates hospital records from multiple sites in the Ontario Health West Region, from Waterloo to Windsor and Tobermory to Niagara Falls. Patients aged 16 and older with a valid Ontario health card can register to view their personal health information from participating hospitals – now including Bluewater Health.
Bluewater Health records accessible in ConnectMyHealth include:
- Lab results
- Diagnostic imaging reports and images
- Cardiology reports and images
- Clinical notes (discharge summaries only)
- Medications and allergies
- Microbiology results
- Blood bank products and tests
- Pathology and genetics reports
- Hospital visits
Historical data from Bluewater Health is available dating back to November 3, 2024. New records will be added in real time on an ongoing basis.

While ConnectMyHealth offers patients faster access to their records, it’s important to note that some test results may become visible in the portal before they have been reviewed by their primary care provider. Patients are encouraged to speak directly with their healthcare provider to discuss their results and ask any questions about their care.
New feature: Record sharing now available
ConnectMyHealth recently introduced a record sharing feature, allowing patients to securely share their health records with up to 10 other registered users – such as a family member or caregiver. Patients retain full control over what is shared and for how long.
ConnectMyHealth is operated by Hamilton Health Sciences, funded by Ontario Health, and supported by participating Ontario Health Teams including the Sarnia-Lambton OHT. ConnectMyHealth is a secure, web-based patient portal which allows patients to view their health data from multiple healthcare facilities in Ontario. Hamilton Health Sciences, in its capacity as operator of ConnectMyHealth, has worked to ensure ConnectMyHealth meets all Ontario’s health data privacy requirements, uses the same encryption standards as banks do, and operates in compliance with Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).
